“My print is about the need for immediate prison abolishment. I made it to express the hope for a future without prisons, while understanding the present we exist in now. It is also a call to action.”
ARTIST BIO: Zarra TM is a multimedia artist and writer from Jacksonville, FL who uses she/her and he/his pronouns. Zarra holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art and Creative Writing from Macalester College and works in harm-reduction and emergency medicine. His work surrounds topics such as disassociation, bodily autonomy, and addiction. Specializing in painting, her work has been seen in places such as Lunch Ticket Magazine and the Law Warshaw Gallery.
