“A lack of wealth can separate people from justice. The image points directly to this problem as it exists in the court system. It also represents the much broader problem of fairness in education and other opportunities for success where poverty is such a burden.”

ARTIST BIO: David Thornburg concentrates on kinetic sculpture and has incorporated many different media in his projects. For a recent installation he developed a process to recycle LDPE plastic to create leaves for a tree. David enjoys dabbling in many processes in his journey of exploring Art.
