“Trans lives are constantly ignored and discarded, with trans-feminine POC being the most at risk for violence. I often find it hard to gather the courage to speak up for trans rights and liberation, out of fear for my safety. However, i refuse to stay silent. This piece is my reminder to be brave and speak out for the sake of our community.”

ARTIST BIO: Hugh Moscoe is a trans-masculine illustrator and printmaker working out of Cincinnati. His art explores concepts of identity, relationships, trauma, and politics through a combination of visuals and text. Hugh is currently a third year student at the University of Cincinnati, pursuing a degree in fine arts and a political science minor.
