oil pastels, watercolor; 9×12″
“Last year I traveled along the west coast of California, stopping at all the large and small cities. I was exposed to a devastation that I had never experienced so heavily before. I found myself overwhelmed with the epidemic that is homelessness and even more so how a struggling population could be so ignored. My piece depicts how life continues to move on, with no regards as to who gets left behind.”
