“My piece is about disability. I depicted two cats with wings, one with tiny useless wings, the other with “normal” ones and the cat with full sized wings carrying the one with smaller wings over a ravine. It is meant to represent helping individuals’ complete tasks they may not have been able to do otherwise. Our treatment of disabled people is often inhumane. Everyone has a right to live a life worth living, including disabled people.”
