“My topic is drug abuse, addiction and policy. I represented a floating egg cracked in two with a person hanging onto the egg and not trying to fall into the yolk that is spilling out. The person also has cracks throughout their body. I used this to show how someone that is addicted has to hang on no matter what, even if they are falling apart. Addiction isn’t a matter of letting go and moving on it’s a battle within itself. A person that is addicted cannot let go even if everything around them is falling apart.”
