SOS ART started the “USA Miniprints for Peace and Justice” challenge and exhibit in 2020. Its intent was to encourage printmakers from all over the USA to create miniprints as their voice for peace and justice.
The 1st edition coincided with the start of the Covid Pandemic and as a result, participation was limited. It has increased since with participation this year of 22 artists and over the past 6 years of 134 artists from 22 States.
22 artists representing 2 US States (Ohio, Washington) took part in the USA Miniprints 2026 challenge. They used different printmaking techniques to reflect on Peace and Justice. Their 24 included prints were each 6×6″ centered on a 10×10″ paper. Following are images of their prints with their accompanying statements.
