The main focus of my print is the child being protected by strangers because they are being separated from their family. People in power use it to scare citizens while all that they want is peace. Everyone deserves to live freely in peace.”
ARTIST BIO: Evelyn Mendez is a Grade 12 student at OHHS enrolled in drawing and printmaking course. She plans on continuing her education at Kent State University and major in aeronautical studies. Evelyn loves all forms of art, especially music. Her hobbies include singing, going on walks, and shopping.
