“They say NOW “Black Lives Matter” well, this piece asks the observer to prove it.”

ARTIST BIO: In the wake of the pandemic, Alana “Gigi” Stockard felt the need to connect with not only her immediate family and neighbors, but also with her greater community. The feeling of helplessness imposed by having to shelter in place did not immobilize her; rather, it drove her to find ways to reach out to others, finding solidarity in the imposed isolation through the expression of art.
