adhesive vinyl on acetate; 26×21″
“This piece was created for Women’s History Month, this past March (2021). I used scraps remaining from a poster I made the previous year (2020) for Women’s History Month. It is my observation that women’s creativity, in virtually every culture, has been marginalized throughout history. Nevertheless, women find ways to express themselves, often in textiles, with stunning results. I salute women across every culture; we are interwoven with creative resilience.”
