mixed media, recycled materials; 16x10x6”

“This is an assemblage of recycled cardboard, cans and beverage containers, found food images, and paint used to build a rich visual environment from nothing, much like the “pantry” meals we were all supposed to master.”

ARTIST BIO: Karen Prophet Tindall has degrees in art, graphic design and occupational therapy, all working together. Her art often starts with a found object, an abandoned photograph, someone’s graffiti, a bowl of fruit, and moves on to a “how can I do that?” phase to tackle color, form or a new medium.
