“’What Is It Worth?’ is a critical take on the political stance around the Coronavirus Pandemic in the United States. It features a parodied eBay listing of President Trump merchandise, and a Covid-19 hotspot map. The Coronavirus is costing the United States Thousands of lives, an estimated One Trillion Dollars, and has been turned into a political statement of Left vs. Right. This sentiment is so deeply engrained that political allegiance is more important than a human life; it’s not blue vs. red, it’s instead science vs. fiction and life vs. death.”

ARTIST BIO: Samantha Niewierowski is a student artist at the University of Cincinnati who is finishing her degree in Fine Arts and Geology. She hopes to bridge the gap between the arts and sciences and encourage dialogue between the two often juxtaposed spheres.
