ARTIST BIO: Carol Laque’s latest book of poetry is Keeping Time (2020). Mother of Pearl (2017) was nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. She continues to poetize in downtown Chicago where she is reinventing herself and the city with a new collection of poetry. The Queen City is her fondest memory.
