gouache, watercolor; 4 paintings, each 10×6”
“In my four paintings I explore the many layers of the environmental crisis. I did some research on different topics and came up with some questions that guided my work. What species are affected by air pollution, and deforestation? What can we do to reverse this crisis? How does our present society destroy the earth? Through this project I realized that we often don’t notice the things happening around us and that we humans aren’t as affected by this crisis as other living creatures are. I wanted to bring out those problems in a set of bold art works.”
