“Many people struggle with mental health. It is something that often goes unseen and kept inside. My art piece portrays the overwhelming situations that we go through. I drew a person sitting huddled in a box to represent a sense of closeness as well as emptiness. Empathy and compassion are important to those who struggle with mental health disorders so they can heal.”
