digital art; 5 prints, each 16×11”
“My 5 digitally rendered artworks focus on the idea of identity. I chose to emphasize many ideas and aspects of identity: the idea of intimacy or one’s identity being tied to another; how one’s environment molds a person’s sense of self; the thought that our identity isn’t unique neither our own creation as it hinges on our connection with society; the idea of presenting one’s true self to the world and to others; and lastly a symbolization of the ambiguity of identity. Science fiction was a clear inspiration for my works which underline it best with a foggy, muted atmosphere created through green and grey tones, creating a unity for the entire series.”
