“My piece, “The Fake Will Wood”, is a 3D clay representation that fights bad gender stereotypes. It is inspired by one of my favorite artists, Will Wood, a Singer-songwriter, Filmmaker, and artist, who uses his craft to make statements regarding gender disapproval and who has an exotic style that I look up to. Will Wood wears mostly feminine things, dresses, dangly jewelry, and make-up. This piece is named after the album “The Real Will Wood.” No matter what gender one is, they have their own interests, even if the other gender is known for that said interest.”
