“Many have tried to deny the existence of people who are Lesbian or Gay, and have denied them their basic rights as humans. I wanted to know more about how they try to adopt a child of their own, and what barriers stop them from doing so. My piece is about the struggles of Adoption for Gay/Lesbian people, how they have been denied to take in a child that they are qualified for and how others have tried to stop them. Also about how these children can be outed among their peers for having Gay and Lesbian parents. It is inspiring to see how these people have fought and gained back their rights.”
