“Women have been fighting for the right to choose over their bodies for a very long time. I’ve always been super passionate about this topic and wanted to show how the government considers itself more important than women. I drew a balance scale with the heavier end holding a government building, and the lighter end holding a woman. I used this symbolism to show how the government is considered more important than women. Women have fought for rights for a long time, and now we are going in the opposite direction with new laws taking away women’s right to choose over their bodies. I believe everyone should have the right to choose.”
