“Reinterpretation: Ecstasy of St. Teresa, by “Master” artist Bernini. Historically, women were denied the same freedoms, education, and recognition afforded to their male counterparts. While the narrative of art history often foregrounds the achievements of male “masters,” women artists were also present, pushing against boundaries and carving out space for themselves within a restrictive system.”
