“The Tomato Frog in Madagasgar is highly endangered due to habitat loss. Jungle environment is destoyed to create plantations for cash crops. Not only are the indigenous plants/animals destroyed, but the jungle floor is vunerable to vectors and pathogens that now have no natural enemies to keep them in check. Some scientists now believe that the present pandemic is from vectors released from the destruction of the rain forest of south America.”
