ARTIST BIO: Karla Hernandez is a Grade 12 student at Princeton High School.
PROJECT: Art Teacher Matt Reed asked his students to plan and create a photo that communicates an idea related to peace and justice. The topics of equity, equality, and social justice were discussed and students were encouraged to create something with those ideas in mind. The assignment allowed students to use their own photography in combination with Photoshop and the editing skills that they have learned so far this year.
