cardboard, hot glue, metal cans, trash; 7x23x23”
“My sculpture of a sea turtle is made completely out of trash. For the shell, I used aluminum cans from different sodas, energy drinks, coffees, etc. For the fins I used an assortment of wrappers and smaller pieces of trash. For the head, I used a mix of aluminum as well as wrappers. Pollution is something I feel very strongly about because I have a deep love for the earth and the animals on it. A lot of trash is going into the ocean and killing the animals.”
