“Gay and lesbian couples should be allowed to adopt. No couples should be denied the happiness of welcoming a child into their home. All children deserve a family. Studies show LGBTQ + parents are the same as heterosexual parents. As long as the kid is safe and feels loved, that’s all that matters. With my piece I chose to draw two mothers in color and left the child uncolored because I am showing that the child has their own path in life. All that matters is that every child feels welcome and loved whoever their parents are.“
