“My piece is about what African American people have had to go through for centuries. It is my right as a Black person to show these types of negative feelings that not only Black people have had, but also Jewish, Muslim, Asian, Hispanic… We all face blatant racism and prejudice because of what we believe in and the color of our skin. Not everything has to be the same; differences are what makes the world shine. “I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin but by the content of their character. I have a dream….”(Martin Luther King Jr).”
