“The artwork represents the struggle for peace and justice in a divided world. The strong raised fist holding the balance symbolises people’s unity and their fight against injustice. The weighing scales emphasise that justice must be equal for all. Below, chaotic dark forms represent the conflict, violence, and suffering faced by society. Above all this, a white dove carrying an olive branch flies freely, symbolising hope and peace. The blend of warm colours highlights the contrast between conflict and calm. “Even in times of struggle, justice guided by unity can lead the world toward lasting peace.”
