“This picture depicts the Gaza war, where there is no space for peace or justice. The paper is deliberately divided into two halves to show Gaza on one side and Israel on the other. The conflict between the Gaza Strip and Israel began on 7th October 2023, when a sudden attack triggered a devastating war. Since then, countless lives have been lost, and thousands of innocent people—especially women and children—have been injured or displaced. The artwork highlights the severe human suffering caused by war and the absence of peace and justice on both sides. Through this image, I convey the importance of non-violence, security, fairness, equality, and accountability as the foundations of harmony and justice. To reduce violence and war, the world must strengthen justice systems, prevent exploitation, and promote understanding between nations. Only by rejecting violence and embracing justice can lasting peace be achieved. Peace and justice are two sides of the same coin.”
