“The peace of the people depends on the governance of a nation. When justice is delivered fairly, fear grows in those who commit crimes, and courage grows in those who do good. For women to step out boldly and live freely, all that is needed is a just and responsible administration. Crimes against women must be punished, and those who stand helplessly in dark cells must receive rightful justice.
Laws should not merely be strict; they must be strong and effective. Those who witness punishment—and those who commit crimes—should tremble at the thought of doing wrong. Law is like sight; it must not be blindfolded and locked away in darkness. When mistakes are made, they must be condemned. Injustice and cruelty must be cut down at the root. Wrongs must reduce. Evils must disappear from this world. What is done in the morning will bear fruit by the evening.”
