“It is my imaginary art work to comment on global conflicts and the need for peace and international action. The painting juxtaposes symbols of peace with the symbols of destruction and suffering, including a mushroom cloud which represents nuclear war. This is a call for an end to mass violence and war and a plea to the international community to intervene and prevent the atrocities. The central figure is a child wrapped in a burial cloth, symbolising victims of violence.”
