“Guided by art teacher Lindsay Holliday, and using Adobe Express, Princeton High School Students created posters to communicate ideas about Peace & Social Justice addressing a topic of their choice.
My poster addresses immigration justice by contrasting symbols of control and freedom. The chains represent man-mad systems, control, and restriction. While the birds already symbolize freedom, so make them work against the chains. The people walking for peace reflect collective action against the chains. The people walking for peace reflect collective action in the face of oppression. Together, these show that freedom is natural and should not be taken away, unfair systems can and should be challenged.
