alcohol markers, color pencil, white gel pen; 16×20″
“How can toxic habits affect life? In the left side of my piece the mood is gloomy and toxic compared to the right side which is happy and bright. On the left side the character has developed a toxic habit abusing alcohol that can affect the people around him and his relationships. On the right side the two characters are surrounded by clear and pure water allowing their pants to be seen. On the left side, however, the characters’ pants can’t be seen because the water is toxic and contains harmful elements. The characters on the right side try to help giving a hand while on the left the character is not paying attention and refusing help. Alcohol addiction can affect people’s health and relationships; it can lead to fights, to deaths, and can split families. People should be aware of the effect of alcohol and try to take actions like therapy.”
