“Guided by art teacher Lindsay Holliday, and using Adobe Express, Princeton High School Students created posters to communicate ideas about Peace & Social Justice addressing a topic of their choice.
My poster was designed to help in bringing awareness, be the voice for those who can’t speak up. ICE has been mistreating a lot of people, mainly hispanics. For the title of the poster I used:” With Liberty and Justice for All”, a phrase that comes from the Pledge of Allegiance. Many say it without realizing that not everybody gets the same privilege in America. I showed many hands sticking up with a dove flying by. The dove signifies peace and the hands, people wanting peace and a better government system. I also included a bible verse since Christianity is the biggest religion in the U.S. currently and it talks about how God always mentioned to treat other people generously and to never have a single hatred towards them, and to love them equally as many Christians love God.”
