“The idea behind my artwork was to show what I believed was one of the worst things that has even happened to the world, especially since the creation of cars and automobiles. Pollution has been a devastating problem. Wiping out millions of years worth of ice and destroying other habitats for animals. Air quality had also depleted leading to breathing problems in heavily populated areas with lots of factories. I wanted to also show the hypocrisy of humans and say to save the planet while polluting it even more. I wanted to show my ability to use different styles in one piece. With a 2D background and a 3D foreground I wanted t o accomplish the main idea of the piece as the flag portraying a “Save Our Planet” letting but with the hypocrisy of the plane emissions and burning of the smoke stack. I feel as if I accomplished my goal to show others the real world dangers of things we see everyday and possible work at.”
