“As humanity we ignore the needs of the oceans and the environments we live in. Carbon Emissions not only cause the overall CO2 levels in the ocean to rise but also the acidity, harming not only the fish and wildlife but indirectly us. These effects occur in the oceans in waves of heat, putting the coral and marine life into shock. The father figure in the painting is ignoring the pleas of the little girl who is clinging on as much as she can waiting for her father to notice her. The father is ignoring the needs of the girl like similar to humanity ignoring the needs of oceans.”
