“Sexual harassment happens to more than 68 millon people a year and that’s only the number of people who have reported it. My piece is about the feeling after you’ve experienced sexual harassment. The blue and pink flowers represent men and woman, the blue cloak to hide away the body, the pearls around the neck as if the woman feels she can’t speak about it, the brain filled with spirals and missing pieces because now something is missing from her and she need stime to heal, and needs to find yourself again. I want my piece to encourage people feeling comfortable to come out with what they have experienced, move forward and report the situation. I hope my piece makes people realize how serious sexual harassment is.”
