“Have you ever wondered what could happen if you used drugs illegally? My art piece is about the war on drugs because I believe drugs can seriously impact your life. Using drugs can make you feel numb, disconnected, and alone, even when people are around you. Some people use drugs to hide their feelings or take out anger. Talking to people you trust really helps. Opening up can improve your mental state of mind and remind you that you’re not alone. Behind the war on drugs, there are also serious legal consequences, like possible jail time or prison. There are better ways to get help than using drugs.”
