masks, covid tests, chain, white table cloth, surgical glove, acrylic paint
“This outfit is made to showcase the global epidemic of 2019. How it shut America down, everyone staying indoors and not going out. Businesses were shutting down, grocery stores were selling out of items like toilet paper and bread. Nurses and doctors were spending the night on shifts because they couldn’t go home to their families. People, especially older generations were dying due to this disease. COVID-19 was a world-turning event, it ruined schooling for students of all ages, and it messed with the way people interacted with one another. “
ARTIST BIO: Lizzie SCHREIBIS and and Haley SCRIEBER are grade 12 students at OHHS studying art under art teacher Katie Jacobs.
