“This piece represents the feeling of being put down by society. As a teenager you can feel pushed out, not worthy enough and it makes you feel alone. You often feel like you need to change yourself to fit in, to be someone who you are not. It slowly kills you over time as you see yourself changing for people who don’t truly care. You put on a “show” for people and family around you trying prove how strong you are when in reality you’re crumbling due to the pressure that’s put on you.”
