“How has inflation affected you?  Inflation is a very serious problem nowadays, making it hard for people to live off minimum wage.  Inflation is continuing to raise prices and wreck more havoc on people and their homes. My art piece is about inflation. I chose to do a hot air balloon to show the inflation aspect and money falling from it to show how it is a real problem, and that the dollar is basically worthless nowadays after everything costing so much. I used a hot air balloon to get my point across about inflation because the symbolism of the hot air balloon shows the aspect of inflations I wanted to portray. Inflation has impacted me by making everything hard to afford to work from the time I was 16 saving money to move out or buy a car and being nowhere close to being able to afford it or even getting the gas to make it to work or school. Buy groceries you can have maybe 5 things, and it will cost over $100 can’t imagine trying to feed kids.”
