“I want you to think. Think about the veterans that fought for us, protected us. Where are they right now? In their own home, living comfortably and healthy? Well, I have something for you, the majority of veterans that have health issues are on the streets, barely scraping by. I learned that Many Veterans don’t get healthcare from the Military even though the acquired their injuries from serving the country, i have my own personal experience with this, my father has lost most of his hearing in one of his ears from working on planes constantly while he was in service, i wasn’t surprised to learn that it happens much more common than you’d think, many veterans are forced to be homeless because their physical injuries are too hard for them to find any jobs that would hire them. This new information made me think I had to make a piece about this that showed and expressed my feelings about this. I tried to show how i felt that Veterans must feel alone and isolated even after helping us so much.”
