“Under the guidance of my digital art teacher Francine Gibson, I selected Child Trafficking as a theme for my social awareness poster. Children account for 27% of all human trafficking victims worldwide. 2 out of 3 identified victims are girls, however this doesn’t mean boys aren’t trafficked equally as much. Majority of victims are taken by people they know and trust rather than a stranger. Most of these victims are given drugs to deal with the trauma. Not all child trafficking involves commercial exploitation; the children may also be used for forced labor, domestic servitude, organ trafficking, debt bondage, or recruitment of child soldiers. The most vulnerable kids are the ones seeking a better life and education. I picked high resolution pictures of grim looking children from unsplashed to show the mood and emotions relating to the topic and listed accurate and current facts from savethechildren.org”
