“The topic of my art piece is racism. I am passionate about advocating for equality for all. My image is 8 arms of different skin tones reaching out for a button that says end racism. It is supposed to symbolize everyone no matter the color of their skin or their background who should be lending a hand to help this fight. The background consists of old newspapers talking about racism and segregation and as one gets closer to the button there is a blur effect bringing one into the middle where it says end racism. The newspapers show the awful things that have happened, and that we should never forget these stories. It should be the goal of all to work together towards no more racism.”
