“A struggle for justice and unity amid tension. Oppression and resilience, a fist for collective strength. A shared fight for fairness glows in the center – standing for an unbroken sense of hope.“
ARTIST BIO: Joel Muribi Kiragu is a self-taught Kenyan visual artist working with watercolor, acrylic, charcoal, and graphite. Although he has drawn since childhood, his artistic journey became more active after participating in the 2025 Chinese Bridge Calligraphy and Painting Competition. Joel’s work blends technique and emotion across multiple mediums, exploring both realism and expressive visual storytelling. He has exhibited at the Rosslyn Riviera Mall Art Exhibition and continues to grow his artistic presence through exhibitions and collaborative projects. Beyond his artistic practice, Joel is a Construction Management student at Kenyatta University. His multidisciplinary background influences his perspective, merging structure, creativity, and problem-solving in his artistic process.
