ARTIST BIO: Patricia Githae is a fine artist specialising in drawing and painting. She works primarily with charcoals, oils, and acrylics on canvas alongside mixed media techniques. Her artistic journey began in 2020, driven by curiosity and self-learning, then followed by formal training at the Bururburu Institute of Fine Art. She is currently under the mentorship of Patrick Mukabi. Patricia’s artworks serve as visual activism, highlighting mental health struggles and emotional pain; also environmental activism, drawing attention to the fragile relationship between humanity and the environment. Patricia also holds a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations, which deepens her understanding of global issues and human behavior.
