“Caught red handed explores society’s hold on women’s body image. Bold strokes and sharp details expose how beauty standards, media and cultural expectations shape how women see and treat themselves. Drawn from personal experience the work speaks more broadly to autonomy, shame, visibility and control. By laying this truth bare, the painting becomes both intimate and political: a refusal to let silence or conformity dictate self-worth.”
