ARTIST BIO: Martha J Fairbanks was born in 1955 in upstate NY. After high school she did factory work and moved to Cincinnati in 1981 where she met her husband and raised a family. Later, after retiring from Ford, she started taking pottery classes at Queen City Clay, first on the wheel, then earlier this year, sculpture with Kirk Mayhew.
