ARTIST BIO: Ana England, Professor Emeritus at NKU, holds an MFA from San Jose State University. Her numerous exhibitions include shows at Miami University Art Museum, Texas Christian University, the Weston Gallery, Nexus Contemporary Art Center in Atlanta, the Dayton Art Institute, and at the Cincinnati Art Museum in the solo exhibition “Ana England: Kinship”. Her work is widely reviewed in regional and national journals such as Sculpture and Ceramics Monthly and featured in books such as The Spirit of Ceramic Design and Raku Pottery. Ana England has given many lectures and workshops at a variety of venues including the CAM, Donkeymill Art Center in Hawaii, Taller Escuela Artefuego, in Caracas, Venezuela, and at the “Einstein Meets Magritte Conference” in Belgium. She has completed commissions for Fidelity Investments, the Cincinnati Art Museum, USA Funds, The Pacific Grove Museum of Natural History and other organizations and individuals.
