ARTIST BIO: Jan Brown Checco is a master studio artist and arts administrator who creates commissioned works, and designs and leads community-based projects that engage professional artists and novices alike. Her mediums include high-fire ceramics, water-based painting, mosaics, stained glass, assemblages, and design and direction for large and small-scale projects.
