“My piece shows how as minorities, we feel trapped, even though much progress has been made for these groups. The souls of these past lives live on, giving us the opportunity to live without judgement. The impact of past choices gives us a chance to bring this injustice to light.”
ARTIST BIO: Tyler Calvelage is a first year at UC majoring in Fine Arts and minoring in Entrepreneurship. He is 19 and into many of the arts, including band and colorguard. While having focused on ceramics for the past 3 years, he also dabbles in painting and drawing.
