ARTIST BIO: Fatima Taylor (formerly Azimova) is an Uzbek-born artist and educator based in Ohio. After immigrating to the U.S. in 2001, she balanced motherhood with her dedication to art, teaching, and community engagement. She taught at Shawnee State and Ohio University, exhibited regionally and nationally, and contributed significantly to the Ohio Art League. Now an MFA graduate, she was recently accepted into the Ph.D. program in Interdisciplinary Arts at Ohio University, where she explores art, philosophy, and social power.
